Entries that are handled by Startup Guru can be modified so that they start up when you want them to start up. Entries that are in the Startup Folder or in one of the Startup areas in the system registry cannot be altered.
With items handled by Startup Guru you can set them to delay their opening and set how they will open. By staggering entries so that they don't open for say 30 seconds your system may load faster because every program in your startup areas is not trying to grab the same processor openings at the same time.
If you have a program that you know you won't need for a while set it to open a couple minutes after Windows boots up. This could get you up and running quicker to do what you really need to do.
