On the main listing shown above you can see several items. Checkboxes allow you to disable any item. If you uncheck an item on the enabled list it will be MOVED to the disabled list (tab). Double clicking will let you edit an entry that is handled by Startup Guru. Entries handed by Windows cannot be edited.

Disabling an item is recommended before actually deleting an item in order to recover if after you reboot you run into any problems. You can re-enable the item in question so it will run the next time the computer reboots. Items have been shaded with a different background color in order to help you recognize which items are handled by Startup Guru (and saved in your profile) and which are handled by Windows.

To schedule an item you need to edit it. Do this by clicking the Edit button or the Edit popup menu that is activated by right clicking on the list. Only items that are handled by Startup Guru may be edited and scheduled.

If you want to schedule an item that normally starts up in the registry simply right click on it and choose the option to "Handle with Startup Guru". This will remove it from its original location and store it within Startup Guru.
